2XKO Reviving
A game that was practically dead, averaging barely three players per day, is now managing to become a desired title and a benchmark within the competitive fighting genre.
Riot Games has played its cards well, betting strongly on the competitive scene. The game has already been present at prestigious tournaments such as EVO, where the most important fighting titles in the world face off.
At first, 2XKO progressed slowly: few characters, a mediocre roster, and plenty of criticism. However, something changed. Riot began adding popular League of Legends champions like Thresh and Akali—heroes widely played in the MOBA—leaning into what truly attracts players.
The result was clear: 2XKO went from having virtually no players to boasting a considerable number of users online. Even so, the road ahead is long, and there’s still much to improve. One of the most criticized aspects remains optimization, which is still lacking.
On the positive side, Riot lowered the minimum requirements to play. Now, an Intel i3 or Ryzen 3 processor is enough, whereas before at least an Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 was required. This opens the door to more players and makes it easier for the title to gain popularity.
Sincerely, English Staff
